I am currently busy building a team of FEMALE writers and poets. I have two female writers on my team right now besides myself. We will start out by creating creative pieces like short stories or poetry together. We will choose and design our curriculum, train each other, and use Google Docs for collaboration. We will publish our collaborative pieces and gain recognition together. The mission is to create several pieces, especially short stories on women abuse, misogyny, and cultural thoughts and beliefs. This is how we will guarantee to construct a safe space for women who are handling physical, domestic, or financial issues.
The inspiration behind this project is three core ideas: talented female authors like JK Rowling are strategically being discouraged and blocked from publishing early; small presses are helping more women enter the world of publishing so that they may reverse a trend that’s keeping talented women bare of experiences and monetary gain; and Obama’s female staffers could make their voices heard only after they amplified each other’s response.
The idea is to publish creative pieces together and construct passive revenue. We will decide whether to use a publisher or self-publish─I am under the impression that self-publishing generates more income. We will write and agree upon the percentages together before we set out on writing and publishing a piece. This way, every time a completed piece sells due to someone else’s effort, you will get a percentage commission. While self-publishing, we will have the following two scenarios to play with:
- Grant every participating writer access to our self-publisher account. This way it will be easier for everyone to review the total revenue and then the Treasurer will distribute it among each participating writer.
- In case, we decide to order copies of our books as wholesale items, then everyone will have to submit total generated revenue after they have finished selling those books. This is required so that this revenue can be shared among the rest of the participating writers.
Furthermore, we will hire an independent editor to edit our works. Brainstorming content on paper can be very emotionally and physically draining and time-consuming, which is why I recommend that the writers shouldn’t be assigned the editing process.
Our expert writers will slowly gain experience in the following disciplines:
- English Literature including Genres like Comedy, Romance, and Crime Fiction
- Gender Studies
- Women Abuse
- Social Justice
- Mental Health
- Arts & Culture
- Lucid Dreaming
- Book and Movie Reviews
- Social Media
The whole idea is to keep granting knowledge until the team achieves a PhD-level thinking. This is why we will struggle to maintain the voice of each writer while we merge ideas from other authors to their existing content. We will also publish a writer’s original pieces with the rest of the finished ones.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org about your qualifications and interests and attach two creative works of yours. Emerging and experienced writers are welcome since this is an opportunity that is designed to allow personal growth within a supportive environment─you will most definitely be learning and applying lucid dreaming besides techniques of some top writers like William Shakespeare. We will struggle to maintain the voice of each writer while we merge ideas from other authors to their existing content. We will also publish a writer’s original pieces with the rest of the finished ones.
For now, I just want a team of six individuals. Only GTA-based and Ottawa-based artists are welcome. Kindly email me at email@example.com if you are interested in signing up for this long-term project.
